Let me tell you Hanna Hidegkuti’s story from the beginning till present day:Hanna is a student at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics on the faculty of Economics and Management. She has always been interested in the startup world and ecosystem, so when she found our ads on Facebook, she didn’t hesitate to take the first step to become a member of the volunteer team.
As the member of our team, Hanna made a lot of new acquaintances, furthermore she made a really good friend with whom they are still great friends. They didn’t know each other before, even though they come from the same town, they are attending the same university, lived in the same dorm, and even had many mutual friends.
If you want to make the most of your Safari volunteer experience, you should take part in as many task and project as you can. Through these you can really learn about the startup culture, build your network, and gain experience. Thanks to the Safari, Hanna had the opportunity to get access to the startup offices where she couldn’t have gotten in otherwise. From these offices, Loffice made the best impression on her in the aspect of design and mood. In addition she could meet some company leaders in person, talk to them after the workshops and talks, and ask questions. This experience gave her a new point of view about the ecosystem of multinational company’s and their working methods.
After the Safari, thanks to Hanna’s outstanding work she had the chance to join us in the xLabs team as a valuable member and as our new intern.Hanna worked on one of the company’s most important project: CESAwards, a competiotion for startups all over the CEE region. Throughout this project Hanna proved her responsibility and capability. Her xLabs story is not over, she is still part of the team - we give her as many opportunities as we can to improve her skills and to create a solid foundation for her future.
A Success Story
